China Textile International Exchange Center(Council),originally the International Cooperation Department of the ex-Ministry of Textile Industry in China,is now an affiliate to China National Textile Industry Council,and CITEC is a national organization with State-based representation in promoting and strengthening the international exchanges & cooperation and busines facilitation for all the sectors of textile pipeline in China with its membership compromising a cross-section of business interests and incorporating a range of companies from the largest corporations to small companies and individual members in such industries as fibre,yarn,fabric,apparel,dyeing-printing-finishing,textile chemicals,textile machinery etc.

The object of the Center is
To provide an opportunity for the international textile business communities to network with their peers:
To provide a forum for establishing high level contacts in the textile & apparel industries in your and Chinese governments,financial and business communities;
To influence the industry's policy makers and act as a conduit between goverment and business community;
To develop and maintain a high level of support for council's activity from the respective governments and collaborate in relevant goverment-initiated programs;
To encourage and be involved in market-directed training & education programs on doing business in China;
To support the promotion of mutual commercial interests;
To be recognized as the peak body for promoting business links between overseas companies and local enterprise;
To encourge social and cultural exchanges on international basis.
To provide technial & market consulting services for international and domestic clients.
